I've been one of those people who has to find a new stylist every time I get my hair done, and I'm pretty sure many of you are in the same boat.  Imagine, if you will, this scenario: where you don't even worry about finding a ton of pictures or having to provide a detailed outline about what you want done to your hair, and not crossing your fingers and closing your eyes tightly in paranoid anticipation of what the end result might be.  While that may sound like a complete fantasy, it's actually my reality because of Sokhuntear.  I had a follow up appointment with her today, and I didn't show up with a collage of hair pictures, no detailed instructions, no outline of expectations the length of a proposed amendment to Congress...  I just told her in a general sense what I wanted, and then she started snipping away.  And, of course, it looked great (as always).  That is trust, and it's a rare thing to find in hair salons these days.  I am one of the most OCD people out there when it comes to my hair, and so I am not easy to please, but I will say that I have been significantly impressed with her skills.  Sokhuntear possesses a natural gift for styling, as well as a keen intuition for what a person wants in their hair.  She can understand a person's personality, identify the natural assets of their hair, and then capitalize on both.  She also does makeup and eyebrow waxing, too, and will often give me tips and tricks on makeup to help me out.  Oh and she's a great listener, as well as an extremely friendly, personable, and kind person.  I cannot stress how much of a relief it is to cross "get hair cut" off my list of things I have to worry about.
